Please join us for: The Winter Solstice Encaustic Show at ‘the hive’!
What: an exhibit of small, exquisite encaustic paintings by:  Daniel Beirne, Andrea Bird, Supria Karmakar, Jane Longman, Elsa Mann and Tania Wycherley
Opening Reception: Saturday, November 26th, from 1 – 4pm – join us for refreshements and to meet the artists – demonstrations of this ancient painting medium will be taking place during this time!
When: Saturday, November 26th until Sunday, December 18th
Where: Alton Mill Creative Centre, ‘the hive’ – Studio 201, 1402 Queen Street West, Alton, ON  www.altonmill.ca
Hours:  November 26, 27: 10am – 5pm, December 2, 3, 4, 9, 10, 11, 16, 17, 18th: 10am – 5pm or by appointment/chance.  Call 519-323-3437 to arrange an alternate time.
Just south of Orangeville, nestled in the Caledon Hills, the Alton Mill is a wonderful destination for a day or half-day trip … a great place to enjoy the treats at Shaw’s Creek Cafe, go for a hike on the trails, and/or do some holiday shopping.  We hope to see you there!

Elora-Fergus Studio Tour

I am thrilled to be part of this year’s Elora-Fergus Studio Tour. Please join me and other artist’s in attendance at the Elora Centre for the Arts in the Minarovich Gallery for the opening reception of our group show on Thursday September 15th, 7:30-9:30 pm.
The Elora-Fergus Studio Tour features 31 Centre Wellington artists opening their studios to the public, and takes place Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 24-25 and Oct. 1-2,10am-5pm daily. Demonstrations, sales, information, and artworks galore – painters, sculptors, potters, glass artists, fibre art, photographers, jewellers, metalwork, and mixed media.

The Elora Centre for the Arts… Holiday Show & Sale!

This week we will be hanging new work from 40 artists for the 2nd annual Holiday Show & Sale Dec 4th & 5th at the Elora Centre for the Arts! (I will be posting some pictures of my latest pieces which will be available there.)
